printing invoices via
File->Properties->Business->Default Invoice Report
In Gnucash 4.x and older the choices are limited to the four base reports
included in
GnuCash. Starting with gnucash 5.0 the list has been extended

Derek and Liz give the correct advice to keep separate books, but to
your particular question of getting a filtered P&L—"you can't."
You can however, get really close to one using the Transaction Report
and its more robust filtering abilities. Then export that to a
spreadsheet and fill in your

I tried on the menu entry, that runs the report sans options, same as
left-click.
I tried on a blank part of an existing report and got a menu with, “back,
forward, stop, reload
