I reverted to 8.4, but made no other changes. All of the photos were added
as expected. Sorry there was no debug log, my antivirus blocked debugview.

So, this is unlikely to be KDE's fault. I tried to restart the bluetooth
service, and after about 20 seconds, it restarted and bluetooth came back.
