Key Bindings for Emacs on Solaris

I have built and installed Lyx-1.1.6 on my Ultra-10 using gcc-2.95.2 I used preferences to set the key bindings to emacs but none of the bindings seem to work. Doing the exact same thing on my Linux box works fine. Is there something special about the Sun keyboard? Thanks, Steve Murray -- -
