you. I remember one time years ago when Rob Wesel and I were in looking at
the fluorescent minerals room at the Tucson gem show and Larry came in
behind us and told the guy he was our father. ET'
Sorry, Dana. He was such a wonderful man. To me he was part of the
geography, thought he would always be there. It's like a mountain range
just disappeared.

So sorry to hear the news, Jim Kriegh and I first met him on our second trip to
Franconia in the early days. Larry was sitting by his truck with a very nice
meteorite on the tailgate which had metal flakes sticking out of it. I have
great photos of the stone. I shall certainly miss seeing him a

University of Arizona Flandreau Planetarium Mineral Museum that on August
28th Richard Willey died of natural causes in Dallas,Texas.
