Hello,
I believe all the Apache NetBeans contributors should use the dev@ mailing list.
The dev@ mailing list is our Apache 'central square' so to speak and even if we
don't work on the same particular issue, we should get to know each-other, at
least by name.
The separate netcat@ mailing list

NetCAT members have to become aware of and get involved in voting.
It's also harder, for example, suggesting a new committer from NetCAT if (s)he

I think this further proves it's a bad idea to have multiple mailing lists. We
aren't even capable of having a discussion involving t
Hi all,

David, please vote on dev@
I only forwarded this email to netcat@ so the proper build is tested (vc3 and
not vc2).

I don't suppose the Nov 15th date shown on
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/NetCAT+10.0+Schedule
includes the 3 days we have to keep the incubator vote, right?
So we are looking for Nov 19th for the actual release date, right?

We support Bugzilla and JIRA task repositories and apparently [1] the
OSGi infrastructure for those modules is broken on Java 9 and above.
Could somebody test if these work (or not)?

We know it's easy to make. There's also
https://github.com/carljmosca/netbeans-macos-bundle since NetBeans 9
was launched to help people with this.
Future NetBeans versions most likely will have this.

Maybe this was clarified but I'm curious how the feature list overlaps
with Attila Kelemen's netbeans-gradle-project
(https://github.com/kelemen/netbeans-gradle-project )
The plugin seems to be quite actively maintained (2900 commits, last
commit 7 days ago).
So, what happens now that NetBeans ha
