This morning before church, I spent from 0750 to 1000 at the N.F.P., for
the 3rd time this season. Birds were still scarce, but I did manage to get
a FOS House Wren, in the company of Tom Pfeifer, a nature photographer,
whom I met, at about the half way point on my regular "loop". A short time

Today Bob Adamo and I met at the North Fork Preserve for some afternoon
birding. We spotted:
Glossy Ibis
Northern Pintails
Blue-Winged Teal
Red-tailed Hawks
Osprey
Male Kestrel
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
Rough-winged Swallow
Barn Swallows
Carolina Wren
Blue-gray Gna
This morning between ~ 0800 and 1015, I found the birding to be a bit slow here
- however, I did pick up a FOY Willow Flycatcher, as well as a FOY
Yellow-billed Cuckoo.

I birded the North Fork Preserve with Arlene Rawls today from 6-8pm. I was
surprised to see only Tree Swallows, but was very pleased with the warbler
species seen.

Fork Preserve:
Cooper's Hawk
Downy Woodpecker
Tree Swallow
Bank Swallow
This afternoon, from ~ 1530 to 1750, after the rain stopped, but with the Sun
being very fickle, I paid my 2nd visit to this fairly new, county park. I had a
FOY Bank, along with Rough-winged, Tree and Barn Swallows, all hawking
insects over it's fresh-water pond. When Tom Moran joined me at
