After dinner, Betsy and I went back to try and photograph the Snowy Egret.
It was still there, further north along the creek.  However, before we even
got out of the car, it took off, flew out to the lake just above the trees,
then turned west and we lost sight of it.  This was just after the
O'Donnells saw the bird and posted its presence to Geneseebirds.  We
returned over an hour later but there was no sign of the egret.  We checked
a couple of likely spots to the west (Daisy Barn Campground and Six Mile
Creek Outlet) but the bird was not there.  Just about everywhere in between
these locations is private property so the bird could still be around.
