We have looked at this from the perspective of rolling our own. The idea
was to write an ASP.NET app that provided a way for our customers to come
in and log feature requests, report bugs and so forth via some interface
that we would create, and have the work items logged directly into TFS. We

The Samsung ones are usually OEM only, so if you want a low height 512GB mSATA
drive, then Ramcity's a good source.
Otherwise, there's plenty of other manufacturers out there (Crucial, Mushkin
etc also ship 512GB ones, but they are a bit thicker).

Cool thanks for that info Ian, I was thinking of replacing my main SSD in my
Lenovo X220T this year, I think it also supports a secondary SSD (perhaps
mSATA).
I guess I could always just buy a shiny new ultrabook instead

I think the X220T supports a regular 9.5mm SATA drive, so you could buy
anything up to the 960GB Crucial M500. The regular SATA drives are faster than
mSATA drives.
