Bob, If you got the scanner working with PID in file pixma_mp730.c, could you do again a test with the PID in file pixma_imageclass.c to check if MF4150 can also be supported as MF4140 is, this would make the backend much more ergonomic for those scanners. Nicolas Le mercredi 03 septembre 2008

In the test backend, the only option with cap & SANE_CAP_AUTOMATIC also has cap & SANE_CAP_INACTIVE. This means that it is impossible to test sane_set_auto. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Regards Jeff
