Try removing the existing kernel-module-openafs-2.6.9-78.0.13 with
yum remove kernel-module-openafs.
(you will have to tempoararily stop AFS).
Then install it again afterwards.
(If yum remove doesn't work you could try a rpm -e
kernel-module-openafs---)
