Here's what I learned this morning, when my 6:00 AM alarm triggered a
new "Random songs", replacing the "Random songs" that had been playing
through the night.
The overnight rescan created a small addition to the library. It was one
compilation album that contained four genres. The alarm-trigger

Spotty testing: something I noticed, and I should have seen this sooner,
is that the Spotify "Genres and Moods" list is coming up empty! The
other Spotify lists look correct.

random at all but instead is based on what you have been playing.
