One thing: will the link between Musik in CACHEDEV1 and HDA_DATA
permanent? Or does it break everytime the QNAP is restarted?

anymore! LMS is a 32-bit app and QTS no longer supports that after 4.3.x

directory to work, despite instructions. I have tried several of the LMS
versions for Container Station, "justifiable" seems to be the newest
image.

Anyway, installing LMS in CS is pretty straight forward if you carefully
follow my guide. However - the guide assumes that you have installed CS

LMS isn't limited to 32 bits. We have support for several 64 bit Perl versions.

I'm using 7.9.0. I don't see either "Player Extras" or "Don't Stop the
Music" in Plugins.
How old is your 7.9.0? That version was in the builds for several years :-)
