It's not like they made it difficult. I haven't successfully gotten
SMP up and running,
but being able to use configuration like this sure makes it easier:

Over the time I have collected a lot of sites to block. ads/malware/porn etc.
This has been working like a charm. I have even created a
custom errorpage for this.
But since I don't know when, this has stopped working. And according to the
googling I have done, my syntax in squid.conf
