Hello,
is it possible to configure squid the way it sends username and group of
the authenticated user to a peer proxy ?
Thanks

Hello,
I upgraded squid from 2.7 to 3.1.5
I got several warnings about the netmask and about the usage of
0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
I changed 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 to "all" but now I get this warnigns:

Hello,
I already posted a similar question in 2008, but probably my
illustration of the problem was not clear enough, so I did not get a
answer that worked.
I start from our configuration:
we ( a public hospital ) have squid 3.1.15 that today is only used for
authentication purposes.

Please look at moving to 2.7.STABLE9 at minimum. There are many
important fixes included there.
OK !
Yes. always_direct only determines whether your cache_peer entries are
allowed to be used to fetch from. You don't mention any so I assume it
is actually useless for you.

all our users have to authenticate via LDAP. I now would like to open
the access from one machine but only for download via wget.
Does "acl aclname browser" work with wget
and how can I combine this acl togheter with the IP src acl ?
Thanks

Hello,
our squid has a cache_peer and all of the http traffic should pass
through this cache_peer except the traffic to one server with a fixe ip

Is it possible to configure squid this way ?
I can not use cache_peer_domain because it's not a domain but a single

Is it possible to configure squid as "man in the middle" and to

Hello,
we have certain servers in our internal network we want to access direct
without the pages being cached by squid. I use mozilla, so I cannot set
"don't use proxy for local addresses".
I have set the following lines in squid.conf
acl localsites dstdomain .se-nord.provinz.bz.it intranet.sb
