Hi
I was wondering, is it possible for me to view my own buddy icon? I can see
other people's and they can see mine, but how can I set it so that mine is
visible to me?
Thanks

No, even in 2.7.6 it is not fixed; it depends on which server you will

Strange, I thought that was the whole point of having both the old and
new certs available locally.

I am installing Pidgin and would like to have the Windows Pidgin Option setup
upon install. How do you do that so that you don't have to manually go to each

A long time ago I was thinking about writing a plugin just for this very
reason. Maybe I will check it out some time in the near future - it wouldn't
be that hard. If I do I'll post here and add to the plugins list on the
website.

Hello, if this is related to QQ, then Pidgin 2.7.3 should also not work. But in

there is a solution. Thanks.

I'm not sure how screenshots can show something that is not there.
Also, do I just click save on the debug window to get the debug log?
Or copy and paste, with control-C. Control-A

Hi all,
I just pushed out the release of Pidgin 2.7.7. We rushed a release out to do
two important things--finish fixing the MSN certificate issue we thought we had
fixed for 2.7.6 and fix the AIM SSL Handshake Failure problem introduced in
2.7.6. There are also a couple minor crash fixes.
The latest version of Pidgin is 2.7.7 (just released). Of the choices
you listed, it's compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7.
We have translations of *all* of the listed language choices, including
Other.
