Had been using the setting to decode FLAC and WAV files on the server
ever since I bought SBT. Out of curiosity, changed the setting to decode
FLAC files on touch. The sound is more detailed now with lesser digital
harsh. There is a overall improvement in the presentation. I am using
LMS 7.9 with

running as a UI!). Iam seeing the following errors in the window. Have
already set all error logging to off. Any idea why this error is

With only EDO there is no clicks or pops. When combining EDO and TT 3.0
is when the clicks come in.

I updated touch to 7.8. Installed TT 3.0, installed EDO. I use HRT II+
USB DAC with hub. I am getting clicks and pops. Commented the priority
line in rcs.local file as suggested by John Swenson. Still I get the
clicks. Any suggestions?.

After going thru some threads, this is what I finally did to turn off
wlan in /etc/init.d/rcS file.

# /etc/init.d/wlan start

Edited the file /etc/init.d/rcS.local
DO not comment out the wlan start lines. You need to reset SBT to
connect again. let me know if you hear any difference in sound.

I connected HRT MS II+ DAC directly to the touch without the hub. The
sound was much refined with low noise floor. it was a really big
difference.
Will there be a fix from Logitech or other 3rd party to deal with this
issue of needing to use hub to connect an async dac.

I am getting clicks/pops on almost all file types. Iam using SBT + EDO
with default buffer settings connected to Belkin self powered hub and
HRT music streamer II+
Could this be a hardware issue in either HRT DAC or the Belkin hub??

After running HRT II+ with usb powered hub, I tried without the hub. And
oh, there is no clicks or pops even when playing 24/96 files. Anything
got autofixed

when playing 24/96 material, there are intermittent sound from left
channel for first 20-30 seconds. Is this anything to do with EDO buffer
setting?

Tried defaut and 'Small' options. With default, tt status shows buffer
of 2. With 'Small', tt status shows buffer of 5000. I feel the
'Small' setting makes the sound a bit tight and defined.

Which is the best buffer setting option to select in the EDO. Iam using
HRT streamer II+ (async USB 1.1) with hub. There are many options, I am
not sure which one to use!

Connect Touch (with TT3.0 + EDO) to HRT Music Streamer II+. DAC is

Did anyone try the 'very large' buffer size in EDO 0.7, does it enhance
16/44 FLAC/WAV playback thru SPDIFor it is exclusively for USB out.

Every time I reboot the SBT using the command tt -rbt, EDO prompts to
select the Digital Out option. Is this an expected behaviour?.

HUH, this soldering this is not for me. Skrewed up again. My analog
stage is completely gone. Digital out to the rescue!. Will soon start
