Well, I have some crash files in /var/crash. After every crash I tried
to send a bug report, but the report was damaged.

It looks to me like the decision whether to honour the orientation
restriction in the .desktop file is keyed on if an external screen is in
use, not if the shell is running in windowed mode... clearly for some
deviices operating in windowed mode on the built in screen would be
