I so that when it using scp with -O option " Use the legacy SCP protocol ..."

There has been no activity on this bug for 7 years. Marc stated 1.0.2
connects successfully. Moreover, the last comments were about this
occuring with 1.0.1f on 14.04 (8 years old). Lastly, the corresponding

didn't manage to. I'm not sure the API is still there and in the same
form but also, pem.h is vastly different and much much simpler. I think

As far as I can understand from the mailing-list thread, the patch
unfortunately did not get merged. However, the versions against which
