After mounting your share, can you get folders copied by going to the
.gvfs folder in your home folder? I found that this worked just fine
when it was broken in Nautillus.

the thing is, that I've already tried setting those timeouts. And there
was no result at all. The lookup time didn't change.
Wouldn't it be a lot more intelligent in libnss-ldap to do a *one-time*
check if the LDAP server is reachable, and if not there's just no
output. Just something simple

The above is true (that Vinagre has less protocol functionality than
TSClient), it's also true that it seems slower and less stable (even
moreso when running tightvnc, rather than vnc4viewer). On top of
all this, it also has no visible option for overloading keypresses in a
keygrab-like behavior,
In Kompozer in windows, it opens .php files just fine. In Ubuntu, I
have to rename the file to .html, edit it, then rename it back to .php
before I upload it to my webserver.
I wish I could give a reason for this, but I'm at a loss.

the print screen key. If I press the print screen key, nothing happens.

These steps once worked in Ubuntu:
- open terminal
- type: sudo gconf-editor
- navigate to /apps/gnome-power-manager/locks
- disable lock_on_hibernate
- disable lock_on_suspend
Even with these two locks disabled, I still get asked for my password
when I resume from suspend.
