I can verify this behavior on the latest Intrepid Beta, fully updated as

I am experiencing exactly the same situation with Intrepid AMD64 on Dell
XPS M1330. From my experience, the crash seems to happen when using
applications that need rendering (my last crash was when using firefox),

However, both of them (Logitech Dual Action & Thrustmaster Firestorm)

I have the same problem on ubuntu 8.04 . i cannot export using gwenview
or digikam. This is with a 6th generation (ipod classic) 80gb. However,
debian lenny uses digikam 0.9.4 in which it is fixed. So i assume this
bug is fixed upstream.

I encountered the exact same problem today. Manually changing the
hostname to match the vpn username does not resolve the connection issue
for me. I get an error about AES being used instead of MSChapV2. I
don't even see an AES option on nm-applet.

I switched to a console and the python process appeared to be consuming
close to 100% CPU. Not sure if this helps, but I ran glxgears and I got
200 FPS. Let me know if you need any more info and I'll be happy to
