Some people are concerned about exposing their API keys, and would rather embed
them in their scop

Just force psmouse to use the imps protocol:
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse.conf
options psmouse proto=imps
Unfortunately the fix seems to break two-finger scrolling on the
touchpad.

One thing I'd like to mention. I login as soon as Ubuntu will allow it.
The login screen pops up and then goes away briefly. During that going-
away time, I go ahead an enter my login credentials, and I'm usually
logged in by the time the start up sound drums. As a matter of fact, the
