Hmm... I'm unable to reproduce this in 15.10 because I can't find out
what commands switch viewport and therefore can't set the keybindings in
CCSM. Has this changed in later versions or is it just a failing on my

Tested in 15.10. The behaviour has changed; When an application is
maximised, the panel is transparent and remains transparent when a menu
item is clicked. This behaviour is consistent across all the
applications I've tried, so could this be by design?

Tested on 15.10. When the application icon is clicked, Unity seems to
restore the window which was last minimised in a stack-type behaviour.
Clicking on the icon again shows a spread of all windows of that
application. Presumably, this is by design?

"Appearance" and then reducing the "Launcher icon size" slider, or
change the launcher size by some other method?

I don't see "chat" in the menu, just Empathy. However, the behaviour is
the same: Clicking on Empathy opens the contact list, but not the chat
window, when Empathy is already minimised.

As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS, I have tested this on 15.10
and the bug is still there.
The default key combinations don't work and neither does setting them to
Super + Left/Right/Up/Down.

marking this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is
now unsupported. If you can still recreate this bug in a supported
release, please do open a new bug and we can triage it for consideration
in the 16.04 LTS dev
