As far as I know, the alpha version of 64 bit flash has been available
for almost one year (or longer than one year), but Adobe hasn't released
any GA version yet. Anyway,
I had the same problem and Luky Winarto's workaround works for me too.
Just like what chaser.nl did, I commented out those two lines with '#'.
I'm using Ubuntu Linux 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope Desktop 64 bit.

As you can see the version of 'cairo-dock-plug-ins' is different from

I had this problem and tried to solve it with adding those three lines
of Option to xorg.conf file. However, it did not solve my problem and I
still had very slow scrolling and other performance issues.
I eventually decided to try the new version that is Intrepid so upgraded from
8.04 to 8.10 bet
I tested Intrepid alpha 5 and believe it's working.
I tested both intrepid-desktop-amd64.iso and intrepid-desktop-i386.iso,
7 times and 6 times respectively. I could not find any problem with
realtek NIC driver.
I hope this will be also applied to 8.04 Hardy Heron soon or is it
already? :D
