Every time I resume from suspend, my display is garbled (looks a bit
like the loading screen from a Commodore 64). A "sudo service lightdm
restart" from a different console (Ctrl+Alt+F1) fixes the issue, but

I have a new install of 14.04. Same error. Have tried to
remove/reauthorise, but no change. Still fails to authorise, and when I
click "Grant access", I get to enter my google-password, but it returns
to the same password screen every time I enter the password.

software-center crashed with AttributeError in _update_selected_
I tried the "unity --reset" command, and it fixed the problem of
flickering on my Asus Eee 1000H Netbook. However, Compiz crashed twice
as Unity reset itself.
The flickering is gone though...
