I have tried Amarok 2.1 beta from unofficial repository kubuntu- experimental (line for sources.list: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net /kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu jaunty main) and the problem is fixed there. Working, but this one gives some error messages related to some scripts that are installed.
