Are you _sure_ that is the same bug? Because you quote an error message that I
do not see anywhere else here. And I do not see you mentioning aufs.
When in doubt, open a new bug. :-)

Still not fixed in daily build x64 from 2010/11/18. LiveCD fails to boot
(in Parallels Desktop on my Mac) with following error:
BusyBox v1.17.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.17.1-7ubuntu2) built-in shell (ash)

(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file
No, its not just nvidia. I also tried the i386 on an ATI laptop with the
same results. Progress is being made though, since this bug report has
progressed beyond the AUFS area.

Same problem with daily-live/20101112.1/natty-desktop-i386.iso of not getting
to a working desktop and "Too many open files" here.

AUFS looks fixed for me too with 20101112.1. Now I am stuck with bug
#674790 ('too many open files'). Does anybody else see that? Does
anybody get to a working desktop?

Are you sure your problem is with nvidia? bug #674790 ('too many open files')
breaks all sorts of things.

Live CD does
As of todays build "12-Nov-2010 16:33", the AUFS has been fixed. The new
kernal has been updated. Now using "2.6.37-3.11 ".
I can now boot, but have problems with my nvidia .
