I downloaded Ubuntu 18.04.1
Created a bootable USB Stick with Rufus (MBR UEFI or BIOS?)
Booted - Try ubuntu -
after boot: Install ubuntu
Then the installer stops with error number 5 ... error copying files ... faulty
CD/DVD ...
Unfortunately I do not know how to further deb
These fonts are part of the desktop-common seed. They are included in
all Ubuntu flavors and cannot be selectively excluded by Xubuntu. If you
want to remove these packages after installation, some variation of the
below command should work for you.
sudo apt remove fonts-beng* fonts-deva* fonts-ga
Still exists in 18.04
I downloaded grub-common_2.02-2ubuntu8.2_amd64.deb and it's the same 00_header
like on my disk.
My grub is located on a Raid1.
