I can just see that after booting on the live-cd, choosing "start Ubuntu
without installing..." or anot

kernels in original 8.04.1 and 8.10 live-cds.

I tried to print an email, which was an electronic card for a plane
flight. But I tried again (writing this message) with some docs, and a

month and a half, it's the last time I tried compiz) I can't activate
desktop effects anymore on my desktop (it seems since Xorg 1.6), whereas
they work on Intrepid, worked before and jockey tells me that "nvidia"

Seems to build for Intrepid (tested in my ppa). Seems not needing
anything but some packages already in Jaunty. Maybe some of the tools

Happening to me activating some of the default plugins.
Pidgin was very slow and eating lots of cpu, and then crashed.

Occurs to me too, randomly when changing the volume using multimedia
keys (maybe occurs differently too). Occured two times using vlc, but
may not be linked. Using latest Jaunty.

Apparently when I try to test the system sounds using ALSA, there is an
error message : "audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert !
