I don't know, where is the PPPoE configuration by default? I don't
recall blocking anything manually.
My Windows XP PC certainly sees other computers in the network (but not
mine laptop with Ubuntu), I forgot to try to browse them. My Ubuntu
laptop doesn't see anything listed and is unable to brow
I didn't check by IP. I'm not sure if it worked in Karmic as I didn't
use PPPoE back then. Now I also don't use it (it's in my parents' house
and I'm back to mine today), but here I see all the shares properly.
I meant I cannot browse and I can't connect to them using:

I connect to the internet via PPPoE. I don't see shares of others (I suppose
mostly Windows), others don't see mine. I don't often see myself in my
workgroup, but if I type manually:
smb://mgol-laptop/
in nautilus at my computer, it works.

To make logs more understandable - both samba restarts were run at 7:39,
one after another.
