This bug is reproducible:
1. Ensure smbfs is not installed (or uninstall it if it is)
2. cd /auto.smb_base_dir/some_server
3. ls displays the shared folder list on the server
4. cd some_shared_folder
5. ls
Observed behaviour:
The second ls command displays the shared folder list on the server.

For instance, I keep the old version of plexus
(libplexus-container-default-java_1.0-alpha-9-stable-1-2_all.deb) and all is
working fine.
I haven't understand why this new version of

i checked the diff between the jaunty and the karmic version and i can only
find 2 options:
a) colin's debian patch is making this break (using READ and WRITE respectively
instead of RW)
b) is a bug in libkrb5-3

sshd zombie processes and strange behavior after karmic upgrade
Hi,
I am experiencing the same problem since I upgraded my server (I only
upgraded a couple of week ago, the system is on production for about 6
months).
My server is running Ubuntu 8.04. The version of PHP5 I am using is:

aptitude remove --purge didn't help. That was the
only reason why I thought, that the package is buggy. But after reading
bug 234184 I totally agree, that this bug is invalid.
Thanks to point me to bug 234184 this solves my concern.
Kind regards nicolas
