So the root cause of the issue seems to be " ORA-28001: la password รจ
scaduta". So from what I understand the Oracle user you use to access
the database has it's password expired. I it means you need to renew
it or disable expiration for it (I'm really not an Oracle expert).

If you don't need more than one wiki, non virtual mode use what you
have in hibernate config file.

Yes. I didn't in the first place but the problem remained unchanged
after I downloaded and put the mysql-connector-java-5.1.5.jar file
in /usr/share/tomcat5.5/webapps/xwiki/W
