UPDATE: I just got a reply on another list from someone who installed Linux on, as they said, basically the same computer I'm using. So this was the gist of it: NO graphical installer will work, definitely not Ubuntu 16.04 (and I'm assuming that includes Xubuntu). Arch Linux will, but not unless
