It would have to be an extremely boring night at De La Guarda if the audience just stood around in a circle. When I went the audience was got herded round the floor like goats, danced, snogged the performers and flew through the air amongst other things. The DJ aspect of it is called the De La Guarda DJ Connection. When I went in late 2002 I'd just missed out on Derrick May, so I guess they've been doing it for a while. Definitely one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen. When it came to Sydney I told everyone I knew to see it. Everyone who saw it loved it bar one older romanian orthodox friend of mine who thought it was like witnessing the apocolypse.
