This is on their album on Vibe Records and the track was called Summer
Nites. That's one of the best tracks from that album and I have always
wanted to have this track on 12".
The year should be probably 1990.
Can you give me more information on that 12".

RE: [313] Members of the House (was Two Worlds)

2002-03-04 Thread Fred Heutte
My favorite Members of the House release is "These Are My People"/
"Feel the Fire" (Shockwave SW 1003, "produced and mixed by
Underground Resistance"), which must have been around 1993.
It's very much in the Earth Wind & Fire vein, pretty terrific stuff.

RE: [313] Members of the House (was Two Worlds)

2002-03-04 Thread Odeluga, Ken
I remember (I think!) a members of the house tune ... 'Can I share my house
with you ... I'll play it loud, if you want me too.'

Was Mike Banks still a member during DEMF 2000? Even more spotterish, is it
true that George Clinton was an uncredited member/producer during sessions
for the above track?

wasnt he touring with them while in UR? i remeber a mills interview with
him

saying he wrote the punisher(his last track for UR) on his own while mike
was touring europ with MOH

Mike did a lot of work with the group from writing, to management, to a
million other things, so yes, he toured with MOH, but not as a performer.

Right and wrong. It *was* a group prior to UR, but it swiftly changed to a
four man vocal house group that in many ways mirrored the Temptations (Banks
was NOT on stage doing choreographed dance steps - he was deep in UR by that
time). They toured with Martha Wash among other house notables before going
their separate ways in the mid 90's.
