That was the work of the list's own Tim Barr, who probably still has the
text on his hard drive - maybe he could mail you it?

Re: [313] detroit article in the Face

2000-07-26 Thread FRED MCMURRY
Dynamix Damn I love them! They are an electro duo out of Miami, Florida
. I think they had their own label called Dynamix. Wait...they were Dynamix
II. I found a different Dynamix listed on Sonic Groove

Here's the info

Label: Exuma (New York, USA) EX 0010
Title: I Just Wanna Dance
Artist: Dynamix (New York, USA)
Produced by: Matt Noble, Tommy Musto
Released: 1984
Configuration: vinyl 12
Tracks: (Club Mix) Bonus Beats (Radio Mix) I Just Wanna Dub
Description: check the bonus beats and the dub for vox free, hard electro +
freestyle 707 rhythms

They aren't the same people as Dynamix II, who are David Noller and Scott
Weiser...so these might be the guys you're looking for. Dynamix II have been
on Joey Boy, Rephlex, Dynamix II (their own label), Chao, and Sun City.
Seems like both Dynamix and Dynamix II are both hard old school electro
actsthere has to a be a connection somehow.
Don't know what their connection to 313 is in the article (if this is the
correct Dynamix).

Speaking of old articles in the face, the old '88 seventh City techno
article(by Stuart Cosgrove)mentions a techno artist/group called
Dynamix, does anyone know what label this group was on?? I had never even
heard of the name Dynamix before. I thought that maybe it was a early
release on Incognito records.

Many thanks
