That's a good selection of music - there's some great mixes on that site -
would love to get the tracklisting to the loversrock mix (not really lovers'
rock - all manner of glitchy techy housey stuff - including Dan Bell and some
punky madness called 'We Don't Play Guitars')

Pretty interesting mixes.. The Death Mixes were recorded in 1983,
with Bam and Jazzy Jay on the turntables also in support DJ Red
ALert, The Soul Sonic force, Master Ice and the Funky Four + 1.

Crazy crazy stuff.

Which GD Luxxe track do you hate and why? (I wuite like an EP of his
which
came out a couple of years ago but I passed on the LP.

Also does anyone know if Interdimensional Transmissions (the label

Hum.. I remember listening to their album on Suction (Submission), as well as a
couple of tracks on comps (woud have to dig those out), and everytime it sounds
to me like the worst of electro-clash. Probably the thing that really irritates
me is the stupid voice... this being said, hate was too harsh a word, it just
annoys me.

RE: (313) what you listening to right now?

2004-01-28 Thread Ronny Pries
first, i wanted to write that they increased the levels of the tracks.
but then i made a 1:1 comparison and noticed that this is not the case.
a few tracks seem to have some adjustments on the mids, very subtle tho.

strangewise, the remastered m-series compilation is more different to
the old one. whatsoever, i wouldn't have heard the bc tracks as much
lately if there wouldn't have the re-issue. that already justifies its
existence :)

cheers,
ronny

ronny, how do the remastered versions of BC sound compared to the
originals? What has been changed? gained or lost (in your opinion).
maybe a good thing to write this list about-
