VOIP caller ID interface

2017-10-07 Thread Joe Dombroski via 4D_Tech
Has anyone extracted caller ID from a VOIP phone and used it to open a
client record in 4D?

Joe:

I didn’t have VOIP (or TAPI for that matter) but I did connect 4D to a
proprietary switch and then do phone pops, call forwarding, logging, etc.

Really interesting stuff.

Map the phone number or IP address to a user name then route the call to
the phone and call Execute on client to alert the user and find the record
and open it.

You’ll need to bring 4D to the front, as well.
