 Subject: [AI] Doubt on N73

 Hi all,

Is there a way of using the concept of copy, paste in N73? For example,
if ther is a number I have got via SMS, can I copy and paste it in my
 contact list?

The other thing is that something strange has happened. Normally when a
text message fails to go, I get an error saying, failed to send message
and the message stays in the outbox. But this time, neither did I get the
error, nor is there an option to resend or delete the message from the
outbox. Any idea what could be done now?

Looking forward to your assistance. Thanks guys and have a great weekend.

Only sold in the US for now. Supports only one model which is the
Blackberry Curve 8520 with OS 4.7 and above.

I have been using it for 5 months. Works well for text messaging, email,
calendar, contacts and voice calling. Struggles with web browsing although
that is supposed to improve. Works fine with some 3rd party apps such as
Ubertwitter and so on.

Please ask if you need more info.

Acting blind is difficult: Deepika - News Interviews - Bollywood -

Lead actors playing visually challenged characters is not new, but for
Deepika Padukone it was a first. She describes it as her toughest role
yet but also says she is exactly like the heroine - a woman who is
self-confident, ambitious and never gives up.

For me, this role out of all the films that I have done was the most
challenging. It's not been easy. It required a lot of focus and
concentration. I had to observe a lot of blind people before I could
 play this role, Deepika said.

I think I identify with the character Pinky a lot because Pinky is
someone who is extremely self-assured. She is extremely confident,
knows exactly what she wants. She is ambitious and she never gives up,
which is exactly how I am, she said.

This time director Pradeep Sarkar has teamed up with Deepika Neil
Nitin Mukesh and a bunch of other actors to narrate the story of a
group of youngsters living in the back streets of Mumbai. Releasing
Aug 20, it will see Neil playing a boxer who fights blindfolded, while
Deepika will be seen as a visually challenged girl who can dance on
skates. The biggest challenge was to pretend that I was not seeing.
There were no supporting tools like black goggles or a stick with me
to make it obvious that I am blind. For example, we friends are
sitting together and discussing something and one of them says, 'arre
dekh na' and then realises I can't see. Or he removes a glass a bit
aside spontaneously not realising I couldn't see that...So everyone
had to focus and give a lot of attention all the time while shooting
 the film, said Deepika.

The actress along with other cast and crew spent time with visually
challenged people to understand their behavioural nuances and figure
out counter actions. It took around six months of reading and
interacting. Lots of physical movements I had to get use to. It's like
feeling things around you without actually being able to see them. We
didn't visit any blind school, but all of us met a lot of blind
people... it was not just for me but also very important for Neil and
the group of friends I am interacting with in the film, even for
'dada' (Sarkar) to see how it is to interact with the blind. So I
think it was a group process for all of us, she said.

Deepika says she didn't find it nerve-wracking to do the implausible
stunts. As I have been an athlete and a sportsperson before, I think
it just makes it much easier and interesting for me. I think to be
able to do stunts, you need to be physically fit. It needs a lot of
dedication, it needs a lot of control on the kind of

Try steps given on site
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/transfer-contacts-between-out
look-and-google-gmail-HA010222048.aspx
 Steps give are as follows

   1. Log on to your Google Gmail account.
   2. In the left column, click Contacts.
   3. On the right side of your screen, above the message count, click
Export.
   4. Click Outlook CSV (for import into Outlook clients).
   5. Click Export Contacts.
   6. When prompted to download the export file, click Save.
   7. Choose a location on your computer to temporarily save the file. The
default file name is gmail-to-outlook.csv.

Note You can delete this file after your contacts are imported into
Outlook.

   8. Click Save.
   9. In Outlook, on the File menu, click Import and Export.
  10. Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
  11. Click Comma Separated Values (DOS), and then click Next.
  12. In the Import a File box, browse to find the file you downloaded in
step 8, and then double-click the file.
  13. Click one of the following:
  * Replace duplicates with items imported
  * Allow duplicates to be created
  * Do not import duplicate items
  14. Click Next.
  15. In the folder list, click the Contacts folder where you want the
imported contact information to go, and then click Next.
  16. To add or remove fields to determine the way the contact information
is saved in the new imported file, click Map Custom Fields.

Note The Map Custom Fields button in the Import a File dialog box might
not be available when you try to import data from another program or file.
In the The following actions will be performed box, select the Import check
box, and then the Map Custom Fields button is available.

ShowAdditional help on mapping custom fields

   1. In the From box, drag the field that you want to convert onto the
Outlook field that is listed in the To box.

Note The Name field doesn't appear in the To box because Outlook reserves
the first row of a named range or field names. If the range that you import
does not contain field names, the first row of data will be interpreted as
field names and will not be imported as data. To make sure that all of the
data in the named range is imported, use the first row for field names.

* To see additional records in the From box, click Previous or Next.
* To remove all mapping, click Clear Map.
* To reset the original mapping, click Default Map.

   2. To display additional fields in the To box, click the plus sign (+)
next to the field. For example, to display the Business Street and Business
City fields, click the plus sign (+) next to Business Address.

  17. Click Finish.

Hope this helps

Samsung definitely has the best sound and keyboard among the netbooks.
Dell netbooks do not have enough sound and HP and Sony netbooks do not give

Acting blind is difficult: Deepika - News Interviews - Bollywood -
Entertainment - The Times of India

 http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/bollywood/news-intervie
 ws/Acting-blind-is-difficult-Deepika/articleshow/6

We
didn't visit any blind school, but all of us met a lot of blind
people... it was not just for me

We can put the film (sparsh) in the category of good film which you mentioned.
In this movie the acting of nashiruddin shah is extra ordinary.

Posted By iCBSE On July 23, 2010 (10:06 am) In CBSE
Newshttp://www.icbse.com/category/cbse-news/
Rs.1500 Laptop announced for India

[image: Rs.1500 Laptop] http://media.icbse.com/1500.jpg

By 2011, the newbies who wish to try their hands on computers would get
funding of 50 percent on the purchase of each product. The Government of
India has planned to reduce the price of the computer by Rs.4800. This
initiative is undertaken as an element of National Mission on Education
through Information and Communication Technology. It is an effort to offer
the high definition interactive education.

The Centre purports that these laptops would be offered at such a low price
because they are a source of spreading literacy via technological methods.
This mode of education would help create the awareness among the masses. The
laptops are really going to see a huge drop in price.

Under the National Mission on Education through Information and
Communication Technology (NMEICT), connectivity is projected to be offered
to 504 universities http://www.icbse.com/universities/ and 25,000
collegeshttp://www.icbse.com/colleges/throughout India.

It has the following features:

   - It has single unit system which has a touch screen.
   - It has a keyboard which is in-built.
   - It consists of 2 GB RAM memory.
   - It comprises of wifi connectivity and USB port.
   - It is operated by a 2 watt system so that it can even perform in areas
   where power supply is low.
   - The laptop uses Linux system.

This project was a result of discussions on this project with a group of
experts at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT
Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Bombay by the human resource development
ministry. The human resource development ministry would send out these
laptops. This product is expected to bring bright prospect for learners.

Initially, when the low priced laptop were being planned to introduce, the
officials ruled out that its price would be around Rs.500. But, now it would
be almost three times the price that was estimated earlier.

The Rs.1500 Laptop http://www.icbse.com/rs-1500-laptop/ has additional
features such as:

   - Video web conferencing facility,
   - Multimedia content viewer for example pdf, jpeg, zip, etc,
   - Computing capabilities such as Open Office, SciLab and
   - Internet browsing with flash plug-in, JavaScript.

Though, it is priced low, there may be some drawbacks such as the gadget may
not be larger than normal laptop. The other drawback that the laptop has is
that it does not have a hard disc. But, even this can be resolved as the
add-on memory can be utilized in the laptop. Though, the computer lacks high
capacity of memory but a user can take additional memories.

The project of launching this product is running successfully and it would
be available to students, about after five to six months. It is been
reported that this low cost laptop would be low in price but the final price
of the product would be determined depending upon the transportation cost.

The Rs.1500 Laptop would be seeing a great deal of success and the
expectations are already high that this would be popular. The launching this
laptop at Rs.1500 is seen as one of the major steps which would be taken to
brighten the future of Indian students.

1. the battery is certainly not good quality.

2. doesnt play daisy books properly.

3. who gives the technical support, what is the website, manufacturers

4. the circuit board inside doesnt looks of indias.

5. medium wave and short wave radios are certainly no no for this type of

Let me try to address your second problem. The likelyhood is that your
handset has been infected with a virus. To verify this, carefully check your
log enries and see whether there are entries of many failed outgoing SMS
messages that you haven't actually sent. Sooner or later, you might also
experience that the battery of your handset is getting discharged rather
quickly.I think, restoring the phone to its original factory settings will
not help in this case. scann your phone and memory card with a good
antivirus. still, If the problem persists get in touch with me off the

There were no supporting tools like black goggles or a stick with me
to make it obvious that I am blind. For example, we friends are
sitting together and discussing something and one of them says, 'arre

had to focus and give a lot of attention all the time while shooting

In this movie the acting of nashiruddin shah is extra ordinary.
And treatment of the subject is really great.
Thanks.

We couldn't understood, he was praising us or anything ells.

Another bollywood movie which portrayed the skills of VIs was Ankhen.
Though the purpose for which the blinds were used is illegal, robbing a
bank, the skills of blinds were well exploited. My personal thought.

Acting blind is difficult: Deepika - News Interviews - Bollywood -
Entertainment - The Times of India

ws/Acting-blind-is-difficult-Deepika/articleshow/6

Or he removes a glass a bit
aside spontaneously not realising I couldn't see that...So

In North America and Canada, hundreds and thousands of points are
available because of the publically available maps. I have been
noticing that Indian specific navigational systems are being developed

able to make the most use of it. In the mean time, we should try to
see if similar such poi contents are already available based on the
eurocentric satalites.

[AI] an alternative keystroke in jaws

2010-07-24 Thread G. VENGATESHAN
hallo friends:
since this is my first mail to accessindia list members; i put here my short
introduction.
G. Vengateshan, Coimbatore, telephone operator SBI ZO,graduation in english
1992 Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya, Coimbatore.

I am using jaws as well as NVDA but I prefer NVDA as my first screen reader.
In jaws normally We use incert +f11 to access systom tray; for the same action
We can use an alternative key combination of [window +b]. In NVDA also this
key combination is applicable. Many of you may know this.
I alwace recommend my friends to use NVDA and e-speak synthesysor. Off course:
jaws is the comercial product We couldn't compare anything to this. It has
more features but I can say one can operate computer very effectively with the
help of or using NVDA.With regards G. VENGATESHAN.
