Even minister was not aware about provisions suggested in new law about issues raised and kept on assuring about best intentions of the government. Re: [AI] regarding case judgements by chief commissioner for personswith disabilities
Sir, i don't know the current situation, but 2 years back they didn't have any cd version of case decisions of ccpd. Yes. they have cd version of decisions given by supreme court and high courts. however, I also agree with you that I should check with them. I'll check with them tomarro, and update the list about the present status. With regards, Akhilesh. Re: [AI] transfering sms from old mmc to new mmc
Hi! As per my knowledge, if the message storage is in memory card, then we can not take the backup of message via pc suite. I myself tri the same for several time and one of nokia CCE also told me that the backup utility will only backup messages stored in phone memory. - Original Message - From: "jaison bellarmine" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 1:33 PM Subject: Re: [AI] transfering sms from old mmc to new mmc Hai friend, Do the following. Make a back up of messages using the PC Suit. for this go to the menu in the pc suit, enter on Back up, then check messages and uncheck all the other items and click back up to PC. Then remove the old MMC and Insert The new MMC. Back up the phone memory using the tool in the phone. Then go to message settings and select storage option as memory card. Now restore the message back up using the PCSuit. while restoring make sure that you restore the same back up which you created for this purpose. To be clear give a particular name for the back up rather than automatically generated name so that you are not confused by the older back ups which you may have made earlier. JAWS is not much supporting in PC Suit. NVDA is supporting well. Or look for sighted help. with regards Jaison Bellarmine. Re: [AI] Todays public speak download link
frankly speaking I thought minister was not very keen to address seriosly any problem because he could not do his homework. He came because he has to come. - Original Message - From: "Asudani, Rajesh" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 1:54 PM Subject: Re: [AI] Todays public speak download link Public speak programme anchor feels that draft is for amendments to PWD act, though mercifully, minister is aware it is for the new law. Callers were predominantly visually challenged and talked primarily about various issues faced, rather than actual draft of new law. Even minister was not aware about provisions suggested in new law about issues raised and kept on assuring about best intentions of the government. Now, minister has charted the course ahead as presentation of draft before central coordination committee under existing PWD act, consultations with various state governments, and vetting by various ministries, which gives confidence to me about my proposed half a decade from establishing of committee, maybe, plus or minus a couple of years!! Issues raised included: Non implementation of existing provisions, preference to low vision and candidates having residual sight in jobs rather than blind candidates, Muddled-up status of handicapped coach in railways, prohibition on blind candidates for teachers' posts in Gujarat, Scribe problem particularly sixty percentage requirement, Demand for single certificate to prove disability being valid for all schemes/facilities, etc. To a question about denial of banking facilities like loans by banks, minister referred aspirant to National handicapped finance board. Re: [AI] Todays public speak download link
Public speak programme anchor feels that draft is for amendments to PWD act, though mercifully, minister is aware it is for the new law. On the whole, level of discussion was mediocre to say the least. Re: [AI] transfering sms from old mmc to new mmc
Hai friend, Do the following.
