Re: [AI] a solution

2013-03-06 Thread George Abraham
I had appeared for the ABRSM Grade 3 exam for Violin a couple of years ago.
It is useful to do the exam through a registered music school or registered
music teachers. They did have alternative questions instead of sight
reading. Where will you be taking the exam from?

hi,
good to know that you're attempting the exam. there's usually no problem,
as long as you go for it through a registerred music teacher just so that
every one concerned is aware that you a blind student will be giving the
exam.
would you please send some more details?? which grade u giving??
have u given a practical exam before the theory??
who's your teacher??
has she/he informed them of alternative questions in case of the staff
notations??

You need a torrent client like bit torrent or uTorrent or something else.
Look for it on google and install it.

Then hit enter on a file with .torrent extention.

The torrent client will ask for saving the file in a subfolder under the My

Documents\Downloads folder. You may press enter on it to accept the path, or

 type in a new path.

If the torrent is an active one, download will start immediately.

Checking the download status is a bit tricky. Normally it sits minimised on

the system tray. You have to get into it from the system tray once you move

 your focus away.

Start using it and then you will find out the ways yourself.

Re: [AI] Major Changes in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2013

2013-03-06 Thread Shyam M. Sayanekar
Dear members, since 1989, I have been guiding students appearing for
different competitive examinations. The changes, which the Union Public
Commission has introduced since yesterday are applicable only to the Mains
Examinations and not to the Prelims, because the pattern for the Prelims
was changed just two years back. Previously the pattern of Prelims was
different. A paper of General Studies comprising 150 marks was compulsory
for every student and a student had one paper of an optional subject
comprising 300 marks, which he could choose. But since last two years, the
optional subject for Prelims has been removed and a student has to appear
for two compulsory papers each comprising of 200 marks. The first paper is
of General Studies and the second is of mental ability and reasoning. Now,
so far as the new pattern of the Mains is concerned, in stead of two
optional subjects comprising 600 marks each, the students have to choose any
one optional subject. Further, the compulsory paper of regional language, in
which only qualifying marks were required has been done away with.

Re: [AI] Major Changes in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2013

I am happy with the syllabus over all. but scarry with the prilims.

It is useful to do the exam through a registered music school or registered

 hi,
good to know that you're attempting the exam. there's usually no problem,
as long as you go for it through a registerred music teacher just so that
every one concerned is aware that you a blind student will be giving the
 exam.
would you please send some more details?? which grade u giving??
have u given a practical exam before the theory??
 who's your teacher??
has she/he informed them of alternative questions in case of the staff

2013-03-06 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
Well, it is not only the question of crowding the mailing list, but more a
question of privacy.
One may not want to share the contact details publicly, particularly of third
parties. I believe moderator has also issued a dictate prohibiting this.

So, I can share with you on your ID, with her permission, if you will please
specify the context...
