Greetings from JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled.

JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled (JSSPDA) established in the
year 1991 by JSS mahavidyapeetha, Mysore exclusively for the
differently Abled (orthopedically handicapped, hearing impaired and
visually impaired) at diploma level. It offers six diploma programmes
in the area of Architecture, Commercial Practice, Computer Science &
Engineering, Jewellery Design and Technology, Electronics &
Communication Engineering and Computer Applications for the Visually
Impaired. All these courses are approved by AICTE, New-Delhi and Board
of Technical examination, Government of Karnataka. The admission to
this polytechnic is on all India basis.

The Computer Applications for the Visually Impaired (CAVI) course was
started in the academic year 2005-06. It is a unique course offering
first time in the country to provide educational opportunities
exclusively for the visually impaired students (partial and full
blind). This course covers the following areas of Computer
Applications ( Ms word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, Networking &
Troubleshooting, E- Business and Internet, Project work etc.) Mass
Communication & Journalism, Insurance, Call center training, Banking,
Entrepreneurship Development, Accountancy, Commerce, English
communication & written skills, Kannada, Hindi and English computer
typing etc.

The Department of CAVI has equipped Computer lab with assistive
technology such as JAWS, NVDA, Electronic tactile graphics, Braille
printers, etc for improving the learning abilities of Visually
Impaired students.

The objective of this course is to provide technical skills to get job
placements in the areas of Media, Insurance Companies, Banks, BPO
sectors and other Governmental and Non-governmental agencies.

The Department also strengthens the skills of the Visually Impaired
students through Career Guidance Programme, Guest Lectures, Soft Skill
Programme, Language Development Programme to improve their
Communication and Behavioral skills.

On completion of this course the students can also opt for higher
education in B.Com & BBM (lateral entry directly to second year degree
courses).

The economically weaker students will be provided with financial
assistance by Government (central & state), NGOs and other individual
philanthropists.

Those who have passed SSLC or 10th or its equivalent with Visually
Impairments can join this course and admission to this course is
during the first week of June 2016.

We take this opportunity to request you to disseminate this
information to the Visually Impaired students of your institute and
encourage them to join this course for their better future. A nominal
tuition fee which is less than that of a school is being charged to
the students for this course. Those who wish to stay in the hostel
have to pay mess charges of Rs. 1500 per month approximately. In
majority cases the students will get sponsorships/ Government support
in the form of reimbursements.

This is a golden opportunity for the Visually Impaired students to get
admission to this Polytechnic and stand on their own without being a

[AI] Problem with eye ball data card, help need urjently

Dear friend, this is Timy from bangalore.
Reasonly, I purchased eyeball data card and while connecting y5 to
internet to my moto g third generation mobile it is  showing that, y5
full, no internet.

But, am able to access internet in my dell laptop windows version 8.1
with the same device at a time.

Tried so many methods but, didn't succeed.

So dear experts and friends, please tell me what to do now.

 I have some technical queries regarding mail, if any one has answer,

 1. Can we upload imagies while mailing others?
 if it is possible, then how to do it.
 2. At the end of the every mail, we find the link
 show quoted text-
 how we can edit it?
 for e.g.  we can find that many of our list members have put up their
 other skipe or facebook id, their contact no.and all. it is not
 possible to wright it again and again while mailing or replying.

Hi Nidhi,

Though it is only one line, you can type the first line in that box
and then press enter to add another line. By pressing enter it
wouldn't go out of the edit box and will just add a new line like a
word processor. For e.g, you can type your name, press enter then type
email ID and so on.

there is a setting option in which u can write your signature line.
