Re: [AI] 3rd Anniversary of Talking ATM India

2017-02-14 Thread Aruni Sharma
Hi according to the app all the Union bank T=ATMs in our viscinity are
talking ATMs but none of them give any voice guidance. Have tried all
earphones: the normal ones, and those supplied with the mobiles. This is
really disheartening but obviously fault lies with the incorrect info being
provided by the concerned banks. Please take up the issue if possible.

Thanks and regards,

[AI] guidance for a portable reding machine

2017-02-14 Thread Sudeshna Bhattacharya

Subject: Hello Friends,
To: accessindia

Hello Friends
First of all I'm very sorry for sending my immediate earlier mail in
an incomplete form by mistake. it was due to a technical problem on my
PC. Pls ignore the same.
Now, can anyone guide me with the ideas of purchasing a portable
reading machine urgently for reading printing docs, some reports etc?
I've recently got an Iris "All in One Mouce Scanner" from online shop
at a cost of Rs. 4450 only; it works as follows:
all I need to do is to move the mouce over the document, overlapping
texts will be adjusted by the device itself.
then it will display the image of the page in an editable format. once
satisfied, I can save it in "word", "excell" or any other editable
format.
There are a few more options available there as well- share etc. But
the challenge here in Saving the Document image as the scanning
interface is neither read by JAWS nor NVDA, and moreover the system
gets unresponsive if I try to access the interface with JAWS or NVDA.
As I can't access the interface without JAWS or NVDA I feel that I
have to return the device as it is not at all compatible with the
screen-reader and have to look for some stand alone reading machine
for reading printing reports, documents or books etc.
I found some portable scanner with Voice output but there multipage
reports, books etc can't be scanned. only single page document has to
be entered into the scanner.
I earnestly request your guidance at the earliest.

Thanks and regards,
Sudeshna Bhattacharya

Hi Nidhi,

very well put together. It is surely justified if you don't feel for
someone despite their selfless love and care towards you. Its after
all our life and not a maths problem where you always solve every
equation and then later on prove that your solution was correct

Best,
Ajay

2017-02-14 Thread Shyam M. Sayanekar
I carefully went through the article and Nidhi's English is really
impressive. But I feel that we cannot get the society as we want it to be.
We ourselves have to strive to slowly change it. From her article, at least
to me, it is not clear whether Nidhi wants to get married or not. I in no
way want to hirt her. And if inadvertently I have, then truely sorry for it.
