Re: [AI] Is this true? You can buy the iPhone X in India at just Rs. 50, 000

2018-06-15 Thread john clayton
Hi,
you would need to own a company to do this,though...
I guess we all should start filing new company registration papers to
registrars... =)
I get the 12% gst returns, but I have no clue how depritiating the iphone
would bring its cost to 50k.

you would still be paying the origenal price though, just get some 12% plus
15% (if the latter part works) as tax returns and diductions.

But how do you differentiate the Talkback voice when the TV programme is

the talkback voice also gets muted?

Dear John, Shekh Mohammad Ali, Mohib, Sunil, Rahul, Ajay, Mahesh and all
others, Thanks a million for all your valuable feedback, I really vallue and
appreciate everyone's valuable inputs. thanks for taking out the time to guide
me.
You all have helped me and made my thoughts very clear to finalize on the
iPhone 8 plus.
So Bye-Bye to Blackberry Key2.
I'll use the iPhone with the speed dots screen protector for tactile feedback.
Rahul tol me that the U.S company charges around $10 for shipping the speed
dots screen protector to India.
So thanks a ton to you all again.
Just for those who are also contemplating on buying an iPhone, just wanted to
let you guys know that we are getting good cash backs in the PayTM Mall.
So for instance for the iPhone 8 plus, there is a 6500 cash back from PayTM and
an additional 10% discount if you use a ICICI credit card. You can use your
credit card if you have one, or take help from any friend having an ICICI
credit card.
So that totals up to around 13k of cash back, which I think is awesome.
It brings down the price to almost near the U.S price.
Similarly I saw such cash backs for 7 plus and the 8 models too.
So check out prices on the PayTM mall for iPhones.

Also during my research, I saw that there were huge discounts and cash backs
during the Diwali festive season last year.
So those who want to wait it out, might get cash backs upto 15k to 17k during
the Diwali festive season which starts a week before Diwali.

Thanks a ton again Dear friends,
I was really helped by you all,
Loving regards to all, Cheers,
Rishi

Subject: Re: [AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

Hello Rishi,
I understand your confusion entirely, and went through the same thing that is
whether I should opt for IOS or android for a while.

I believe I have said this before, and will say it again, I have used both
android and IOS extencively, and whilst I see the great strides google has been
taking towards accessibility, its no where near the eas of use that ios has.
Apple is a walled garden to be sure, that is no transfering songs through
bluetooth (a feature I miss deeply), no sd slots to increase the storage with,
but those are the only gripes I can think of when I compare the 2 in favor of
android and ios.

The features you are most interested in, that is productivity, email and
browsing etc, are areas where IOS excels at, although android isnt as bad in
those as it used to be. Still you have to fiddle a lot with android to get it
to work as you would like it to (installing uninstalling accessible
/inaccessible apps, changing the launcher etc), where as on IOS all you need is
the device in your hand.

Touchscreen typing is slower than that of qwerty keyboards to be sure, but with
practice you could get cloce.
The braille screen input that ios has though can make you just as fast if not
faster than the qwerty keyboard, depending on how well you know your braille
Alphabets.

So I would if I were you lean more towards the Iphone 8 plus rather than the
blackberry, but if you feel you can not simply make do without a qwerty
keyboard, check with any existing blackberry users as to its UI being
accessible or not, issues if any and go for it if they dont mention any issues.
Hope that helps you some and good luck with whichever phone you end up getting.

I found it at the following quora link, the answer is also pasted below,
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-best-price-at-which-I-could-buy-an-iPhone-X-in-India

You can buy the iPhone X in India at just Rs. 50,000. This is NOT some stupid
logic that we will give you. We also wouldn’t ask you to buy the iPhone X from
the USA.

You can buy the iPhone X in India (Original iPhone X 64GB with all the
warranties)

EasemyGST - Your trustworthy GST consultant will show you how you can use GST
to prevent monetary losses.

GST Impact: Here’s how the ‘iPhone X’ will cost your company Rs. 50,000 only!

Please Note: This is not an article that will tell you to buy it from the
United States. The latest unveiling of the iPhone X by Apple has given many
passionate fans sleepless nights already. In India, the number of iPhone memes
have drastically increased and some have probably decided which kidney they
would be sacrificing to get their hands on the ‘phone from the future.’

In this article, we will tell you how you can buy the iPhone X in the price of
a Samsun

Buy an iPhone X in INR 50,000!

For all the readers who have no idea of the price of an iPhone X, the
ultra-powerful product is tagged at an ultra-expensive price: INR 89,000 for
the 64GB variant and INR 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant.

But we will tell you how you can buy the iPhone X in just Rs. 50,000 in India
itself.

Now as GST in India has already kicked in, you must have heard about the term
Input Tax Credit. If you haven’t, ask your CA. According to the provisions of
ITC, a taxpayer will receive a credit (money) on the tax he has paid for buying
a particular product.

Now if you want to buy an iPhone X in INR 50,000, just follow the below steps:

1. Buy the iPhone X in the name of your company. Pay the company INR 50,000.

2. Now, your company will go to the Apple dealer and purchase the iPhone X at
the market price, i.e., INR 89,000 (inclusive of 12% GST). The company will
show this phone as its expense.

3. At the time of GST return filing, the company will raise a purchase invoice
in GSTR 2 and receive an Input Tax Credit of 12%, i.e., nearly INR 10,700 on
the iPhone X. That makes the cost INR 78,000.

Now let us take this value to INR 50,000!

Read on:

The company can depreciate the value of the product.

Businesses can depreciate the value of long-term assets ( in this case, the
iPhone X) for both tax and accounting purposes. For tax purposes, businesses
can deduct the cost of the tangible assets they purchase as business expenses.
In this case, depreciation of 15% will be applicable, year-on-year.

This will probably bring down the cost of the iPhone X from INR 89,000 to
nearly INR 50,000

Re: [AI] Please guide, Should I buy iPhone 8 plus or Blackberry Key2?

2018-06-15 Thread Rishi Kewalramani
Dear John, Shekh Mohammad Ali, Mohib, Sunil, Rahul, Ajay, Mahesh and all others,
Thanks a million for all your valuable feedback, I really vallue and appreciate
everyone's valuable inputs. thanks for taking out the time to guide me.

Hi,
Firefox version 60 works with jaws and nvda, or so I have read.
I am personally on an ESR version, that is extended support version.
so I would suggest if you can download ff 52 or which ever extended
support version you can find.
Googling for firefox extended support download should bring up some
relevant results.
hth.
