Hi,
 I would also recommend asus,but I would suggest which ever laptop you
choose,please just google for reviews for that particular moddle.
 I have never used an hp before,so couldnt say,but lenovos used to be
pretty decent,not so much now,though.
Proper research about the moddle on review websites should probably help
you much more than the company, as in this range they all are likely to be
the same.
The windows edition doesn't matter a bit,and with almost all laptops you
are likely to get home anyway. unless you are willing to spend about 10k on
a windowspro licence, I'd suggest you stay away,or pirate a copy,which ever
you are comfortable with.
and yes,jaws 18 works well with upto windows10 1803

I am not able to replicate the issue you are reporting. I have opened the
Hindi book on Kindle application on Windows 10 computer and both NVDA and
Jaws are able to read the hindi content using the vocalizer voice.

Would be good to know the software version of the Kindle application.

I've been accessing a hindi kindle book on IOS device without any problem.
However when I tried to access the same book in a PC in which NVDA with
vocalizer is installed, The same book is not being read out. Only
punctuations are being announced and there's no screenreader feedback when
cursor is moved around the rest of the text. 

What could be the reason?

do the following, hope this will help: if not you should switch to firefox 
extended support release version 52.
1) First of all delete the Local State file which holds some of the Custom 
Settings, and see if it helps you. To delete the Local State file, follow 
these

steps:

1. Close Google Chrome
2. Open run dialog or Windows Explorer
3. In address bar type in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User 
Data

4. You’ll find “Local State” file there. Delete it
5. Open Google Chrome and see if has helped.
2) You could also try the following.
Rename the Default folder which has all the Google extensions, Bookmarks, 
History, Jumplist icons etc. The reason why we are renaming it is because if
it’s not the cause of the random freezes and crashes, then you don’t have to 
lose all this information.

To rename the Default folder, follow these steps:
1. Close Google Chrome
2. Open Windows Explorer
3. In address bar type in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User 
Data

4. You’ll find the Default folder here. Rename it to “Default.old”
5. Open Google Chrome and see if this has helped stop the crashes.
Remember to rename the folder back to its original name. Now you at least 
know if you need to look at at thse factors or not.
3) You might also want to checkout if the Flash extension is the culprit and 
causing the crashes, and see if it helps. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. In the address bar type in “about:plugins”
3. Find “Flash” and click on Disable
4. Restart Google Chrome and test it now
4) Check if your
Google Chrome Shockwave Plugin is creating problems.
Find & Disable Power-Hungry Extensions in Chrome using
Chrome Task Manager.

try turning off the hardware acceleration  from the chrome advance
