 Louie has given an apt solution to this problem of mine by allowing me

 forward a whatsapp message just by my voice commands. On the top of it,

I am not aware of how JAWS cursor works, but in NVDA you can toggle mouse
tracking with NVDA + M. When ON, NVDA will read the text as you move the
mouse.
