RE: [AI] Feedback on Dotbook

2022-04-30 Thread Vedprakash Sharma
Presently, Dot Book is given to selected users for trial. It has not been
launched in the market yet. There are some minor issues which need to be
addressed. However, IIT Delhi, who is giving technical support has not been
able to fix the issues.

Re: [AI] AI | How to identify words with capitalised letters in MS word using Jaws

Ritesh,

Change the capitalization setting to character, word and line.
This solves the issue. However, it would speak the entire word
containing capital letter in a different pitch, you can't identify
only a particular character through any of these methods.

Thanks,
Ajay

Re: [AI] AI | How to identify words with capitalised letters in MS word using Jaws

2022-04-30 Thread Ritesh Agarwal
Hi Amiyo!

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

Please note that I have changed the setting of "Capitalisation" to
"indicate" from "ignore". However, this has not resolve my issue as I am
not able to identify any words with capitalised while reading an entire
paragraph in a single go.
Further, I have also changed the setting of "Caps indicate" to "both
letters and words" from "letters".
Additionally note that I use "Control + down arrow" to read a paragraph in
a single shot.

I guess there are many lawyers in this group. I would be very grateful if
they could guide how they generally read any large legal documents which
have different capitalised words in between and the same are defined either
at the top or bottom or anywhere in the same document.

Look forward to hear from you and other group members.

Kind Regards
Ritesh Agarwal

it can be a good initiative. However Book Share and sugamya Pustakalaya are
available for accessible books but sometimes needed books are not
available on these libraries. we often have many books in PDF format
related to our subjects and sometimes we download many books from online
libraries like form Z library but those books are not accessible at all, so
we can convert those books through ISTEM portal. even I tried to convert
one book into accessible format through ISTEM portal but the book couldn’t
be converted. After uploading a file, a dialogue box appeared with the
information that the file is too large.. kindly try to provide the facility
to convert larger files into accessible format
Thanking you
