Hi Vaibhav,
Thanks alot for responding. Congratulations, as you have cleared this exam.
I would like to know a few more things, how deep ARIA do they ask? Do they
ask only screen reader shortcuts and gestures? Have you prepared for the
exam, or randomly given the same?
@minar He has cleared the "Web Accessibility Specialist exam". You can
search "IAAP WAS" on the web.

Thanks and regards,

Re: [AI] Need guidance regarding to Web Accessibility Specialist examination.

2022-05-29 Thread Vaibhav Saraf
Hi Amina,

I had attempted the certification a few months ago and cleared it. It is
not a very difficult exam for someone practising accessibility for some
time.

If you have a good command over WCAG success criteria, aria usage, as well
as screen reader operation, then you are good with at least 80-85% of the
syllabus.

Thanks,
Vaibhav

Hi Access Indians,
I want to prepare for the Web Accessibility Specialist examination. I am
aware of the resources present on the "Deque University" website and the
"Body of Knowledge" document on IAAP website. It is difficult for me to
comprehend the same. Can anyone share the other resources? I would like to

Any guidance on how I can prepare for the same would be highly appreciable.

Re: [AI] I can see but cannot drive, what good is synthetic vision?

2022-05-29 Thread Harish Kotian

Hi Kanchan

One make use of headsets which can be used under water. Someone on
either side of the pool can keep giving instructions to help you
maintain direction within the lane. Kanchan Panday, the blind swimmer
maintains her lane without any such props as they are not permitted in
competition.

Pranav,
Will it tell me that I am going out of my lane while swimming?
I go to a club that is very particular that swimmers stay in their lanes and do
not even for an inch go into others space.
