Re: [AI] Employment oriented Computer and Personality development training for visually impaired girls organized by NAB Delhi

2022-11-15 Thread Babita Moharana
Dear Sir/Madam,

It is really a great opportunity for the women with Vision Impairment,
who are struggling to enhance their employment skills.
It would pave them the way to sustain dignity at their work station
and become economically independent.
I would like to draw your attention towards the eligibility criteria
meant for this training.
The training requires the candidates having fluence English and
completed graduation.
I just want to seek your attention to the people struggling to improve
their English as it is the part of employment skills. This training
program has notably fixed the objective to work on soft skills and
communication. That will certainly enable them to improve English.
As far as the qualification is concerned, there are some people
pursuing graduation in open after completing 12th standard. If those
girls get such opportunity to enhance the employment skill, they will
become employable on the way to complete their graduation.
I humbly request you to consider the points noted above.
Thanking you

My issue is regarding resetting 5 SE IPhone without display as I
generally put it on off mode due to privacy concerns. Now sighted
assistance is not possible as display is off to reset it as Voiceover
all of a sudden asked to reset and no sound after that. How can I
reset it.

@Anirudh - These guidelines are specifically for persons with disabilities
less than 40%. Who might also need a scribe. So they are outlining the
process to follow. The scribe qualification are the same as the 2018

Re: [AI] Fwd: New guidelines for scribes for persons with writing disability

2022-11-15 Thread anirudh rao
dear Harish,
I have neither gone through the guidelines yet nor expecting to go
through it sooner.
I would really appreciate the briefings if someone who has read
through it meticulously.
my concern is for the graduate level exams we take, the scribe was
expected to be underqualified than the person who was taking the exam.
as we all know it, getting someone who has not done a graduation today
is a herculian task.
it is the duty of the invigilator to look after the candidate from not
copying rather to restrict him with the choice of the scribe.
does the current guideline speak about it?

I have used the app before a few years to learn spanish.
I think the app is fairly accessible with the screen readers but, the
accessibility of the learning content is a challenge.
say, they give you a picture to recognise and tell their meanings or names etc.
