[AI] Flood of import duty on the AIDS used by differently abled person

2023-03-10 Thread Yasir Jan
Dear friends recently I talk to a person who deal with the assistive AIDS
or gadgets used by visually impaired persons I need specs known as bioptic
glass he told me that the total cost of this device is 16 rupees only
He also told me that we import this product from in USA United States of
America and government of India charges 40% import duty and 18% of GST on
this products

That is almost 85000 of the total cost of the device
My request to the group members is that if anyone can take up this matter

this import duty and tax for slashing all the taxes and duties on these
products
