Have there ever been any discussions or any steps taken to implement

[AI] Seeking Recommendations for DAISY Player Supporting English and Telugu

2024-05-19 Thread Vijay Kumar P.V.S.
Dear Access India Members,
I hope this message finds you well. I am looking to purchase a DAISY player
and would greatly appreciate your recommendations on the best options
available in India. I have heard about the EVO-E11 from Saksham and the
Karishma DAISY player.
I intend to use the player in my college for delivering lessons and
dictating notes to my students. Therefore, it is essential that the player
supports both English and Telugu text. Additionally, it should be
compatible with EPUB, DAISY, DOC, and TXT formats. Navigation options by
line, word, and character in English are also important features for my
needs.
I look forward to your valuable suggestions.
Thank you in advance.
Warm regards,
Vijay Kumar

The election commission's helpline number is 1950 for all sorts of complaints.
All booths are supposed to keep ready a Braille copy of the list of candidates

Re: [AI] ANDROID ACCESSIBILITY SUITE

2024-05-19 Thread Ashutosh Singhal
In new Samsung Mobiles, Basically Samsung TalkBack is the customized
version of the Google TalkBack by Samsung side . Now Google TalkBack
latest version is 14.2 but Samsung TalkBack version is 14.0 so Samsung is
so slow and lazy to provide Samsung TalkBack update. Now, Samsung is only
providing Samsung TalkBack Updates from Software Updates. It is a very
serious issue because in others non-Samsung Android Mobiles, Users will get
update after Mobiles software update support end also but in Samsung Mobile
if your Software support will finish you will not get any Samsung TalkBack
Update so you will not get any new feature in Samsung TalkBack as well as
Software update comes in so many days so you will not get any new Samsung
TalkBack update until and unless you will get any Software Update.
You can download Android Accessibility Sweet from Google Play Store in
Samsung Mobiles. You will get some extra options after download but there
is no benefit to downloading it according to my experience.

When you enter the polling booth, you should request for the candidate list in
a Braille sheet which you should be present, so ask for it, and in that it will
be clearly mentioned as to which number is represented for which candidate so
read that carefully and based on that you go to the voting machine and vote

Re: [AI] ANDROID ACCESSIBILITY SUITE

2024-05-19 Thread Rajiv Shah
Hi the basic difference between Samsung's talk back and talk back on
Android from the Google Play Store is that Samsung's Talkback has the
ability to only be updated from the Galaxy store. The Google Talkback has
always updated separately so whenever there is a new version it gets
updated. The Google talk back usually gets the features first while the
Samsung one flag is behind thank you
